Kevin & Jennifer + Mellwood Arts Center + Amazing Lighting = an Incredible Louisville Wedding Video

This fall ICVideo had the pleasure of capturing Kevin and Jennifer’s Louisville wedding videography at the Mellwood Arts Center.  The sun was shinning bright that day and it was a wonderful gathering of friends and family.  Their wedding highlight begins with the last minute prep of the bridal party and the photo session with Billy Grubbs PhotographyMellwood Arts Center is such a fabulous place for wedding photos (& video) with all the diverse textures, colors, and architectural accents.  As you will see in the video, Jennifer and Kevin’s ceremony was right at dusk.  The bride walked down the aisle with her brother in the sun was setting and by the end of the ceremony the first kiss was in the dark.  Shortly after the ceremony, Sounds Unlimited Productions had the party started.  You will notice in wedding highlight the couple chose to keep the reception area well lit, instead of dimly lit.  The reception still had ambiance with SUP's uplighting and the guest were able to enjoy the party even more because they could actually see.  Notice how great the video quality is when you just allow in light.  Billy Grubbs got some amazing photos as well because of the couple’s choice.  Just something to think about when planning your reception:)

ICVideo enjoyed spending the day with Kevin & Jennifer and we wish them a lifetime of happiness!

Nicole & Rob + Shafox Weddings + Calvary Episcopal Church = A beautiful Armenian Wedding

This is the second highlight in a series of three Louisville wedding highlights that Nicole and Rob received.  It begins with the photo session with Josh Perkins with Redtree Photography at Central Park.  The bridal party enjoyed every minute of it and the guys decided to be a little adventurous once they spotted the amphitheater stage nearby.  Luckily no one was hurt or any tuxes were damaged in the process!  Meanwhile, back at the church Ellen Fox with Shafox Weddings & Events was decorating the Calvary Episcopal Church for the ceremony with luscious floral arrangements from In Bloom Again.  The church was absolute packed for the ceremony.  This was the first Louisville Armenian wedding ICVideo has had the pleasure of filming.  Nicole was absolutely radiant as she walked down the aisle with her father and Rob looked very dapper.  The ceremony was rich in tradition which you will view in the video.

Please enjoy Nicole and Rob’s second Louisville wedding highlight and check back soon for the third to be posted soon.

Wes & Kaycee + St Louis Bertrand + The Olmstead = Happy Louisville Wedding Video

The title of the song Kaycee & Jeffrey chose for their wedding highlight sums up exactly what made this wedding so unforgettable and the video so amazing….”Happy”.   There was not a moment throughout the day that these two were not exuding happiness, which can be seen throughout this Louisville wedding video.

ICVideo arrived just before the wedding during the time that the very talented Amy Shepherd with Amy Shepherd Photography was capturing bridal party pictures.  It was all smiles and laughter from all of the bridal party.  Kaycee and Jeffrey chose to see each other before the wedding to capture most all of the pictures before the ceremony so they didn’t keep their guest waiting long at the reception site.  The two wed at the beautiful St. Louis Bertrand.

The reception was at The Olmstead, one of the premier wedding venues in Louisville.  Wedding videography allowed Kaycee & Jeffrey to see all the moments during the cocktail hour that they were not present and all the excitement from their guest upon their arrival.  One fantastic moment during the video is when the unexpected best man and maid of honor got cake smashed in their face by the bride and groom (I haven’t seen that before J).  The band The Wedding Crashers rocked the reception late into the night with great music.  It was quite a party and best of all the bride and groom enjoyed every moment of their day.  ICVideo is very lucky to work with amazing couples!!!!

Wes & Meagan + Shafox Weddings + Brown Hotel = The Perfect Kentucky Wedding Video

Another fantastic wedding in the Crystal Ballroom at the historic Brown Hotel.  Wedding video is such a great way to capture all of the reception celebration of friends and family, as well as all the details that make your wedding uniquely yours.  This is exactly why Meagan and Wes chose ICVideo to record their Louisville wedding video.   Each time we film at the Brown Hotel I am always excited to see how the Ballroom will be transformed.  Ellen Fox with Shafox Wedding & Events designed the reception to have a Kentucky horse racing theme.  Each table was designated by a  Kentucky Derby Winner, Wayne with In Bloom Again created beautiful centerpieces bursting with blooms, and Virginia with Mert's Cakes decorated another gorgeous cakes as always.  During each wedding Ellen coordinates she schedule a time where the ballroom can be revealed to the bride and groom before anyone one else can even catch a glimpse.  The reaction of the couple is priceless when they view the grandeur that months of planning lead up to.  It always ends in a huge hug, sometimes tears, and lots of gratitude to Ellen and her Shafox team.  The reception was filled with old and new friends dancing late into the night to a great 80’s band from Nashville.   And of course,  Jerri Payne and the wonderful staff at the Brown provided impeccable service and we got to work alongside of Josh Perkins with Redtree Photography, which is always a pleasure.  It was so easy to capture all these great shots when everyone was having so much fun!

Louisville Wedding Video - Bridal prep with Nicole and Rob // Another fabulous Shafox Wedding

We had such an incredible time with Nicole and Rob.
They are the people that the moment you meet
them they make you feel at home.  In Nicole's case, starting the day at her house gave us a glimpse into the fun, love, and laughter that would be present throughout the day.
Working alongside Ellen Fox of Shafox Weddings and Events was a pleasure as always.  The bride and her wedding party had mimosas, the occasional muffin, and everything a bride could ask for on her wedding day.
The kids were so very entertaining.  It was so cute to watch them as they went from being starry eyed at all the big girls getting their make-up to doing their best to be still as the make-up artist worked to make them even cuter.  Just like everyone else they had to prepare for their big debut.
Working alongside Josh Perkins of Red Tree Photography was a pleasure as always.  Video and photo can come together to capture the most incredible images, sights, sounds, and emotions of the day when planned properly.  Having worked with Josh numerous times, we knew exactly how to work in unison in capturing every detail from the shoes to the tiara.  This video really showcases how ICVideo can work with Red Tree Photography or any of the great local photographers in the region.
As the morning moved on the guys left the hotel room (after getting dressed in 15minutes:) and went to Central Park in Louisville, KY to await the Bride and Bridesmaids.  Once there we were able to capture and incredible reveal.  It was a moment that every bride and groom cherish.  The bride (or groom in some cases) walking up to her soon to be husband.  The look on his face as he turned around was priceless.  He simply beamed with excitement.  She was the stunning bride he had imagined and he was the dapper gentleman as sharp as could be.
Thanks to Shafox Weddings and Events, Red Tree Photography, and all the vendors that made this brides day perfect.
